Even it is known that FC Argeș is a defensive team, the players of Cârțu started the match offensive, amazing the spectators. They dominated first half and opened the score in 27 minute, by Ciprian Tănasă, who received a pass from Alin Năstăsie. After the break FC Argeș became defensive as usually, counting on counter attack. Second goal of Argeș was scored by the same Ciprian Tănasă, in 90 minute, but in additional time Jiul scored the goal of honour, by Laurențiu Diniță. After the goal of Jiul, the coach of Argeș ran to the referee and showed him the watch, that the three minutes of additional time has passed. Sorin Cârțu threw the watch down and overrode it.

Național started the match in defence, Cristiano Bergodi knowing that his attack isn't too good when they are playing offensive. So, he let the students to attack, counting on counter attack. And Sportul started the siege. Marius Nae (9) and Tibi Bălan (13) didn't succeed to break the defence of the hosts. But in 16 minute the strategy of Bergodi proved to be good. Zeno Bundea dribbled three opponents and scored from 16 metres. Sportul continued the offensive, hoping for a draw. And Costin Lazăr (60) did succeed to blow up the fortress of Bergodi, scoring from 7 metres. The hosts became offensive to the final of the match. Zeno Bundea passed perfect to Ryan Griffiths (76), who entered in the penalty area and shot powerful near by the keeper, bringing the three points to Național.

Ionuț Bâlbă has found in this season a prescription to be noticed. He established records after records, like Bubka in the past. We aren't talking about goals now, but about yellow cards, for the despair of coach Ionuț Popa. At this match, after a pause of 5 months, the striker of Iași succeeded to score twice, remembering that defenders are used with yellow cards and strikers with goals. The other player who scored twice is Martin Cernoch, even one goal was assigned to Daniel David, as own goal. FCM Bacău has showed that is playing more like in Divizia B and the fans of Bacău left the stadium before the end of the match, sign that at Bacău less people believes in Divizia A...

First big opportunity to score was missed by Gloria Bistrița. Sorin Oncică has dribbled the keeper Cosmin Vâtcă, but Dorin Semeghin rejected the ball from the post line! In 40 minute Bistrița had again an opportunity, but Adrian Borza shot near by the post after dribbled Paul Șomodean. After the break, coach Petre Grigoraș felt the danger and he substituted Paul Șomodean with Ionuț Bădescu. After just 10 minutes, Ionuț Bădescu provoked the most important action of the match. He came from right side, shot powerful but keeper Septimiu Albuț rejected the ball in bar, then Daniel Stan, the golden man of Oțelul, scored from 3 metres. Last opportunity of the match had Oțelul, the shot of Sergiu Costin being deflected by Dorian Arbănaș (77). This was the first victory of Oțelul on own field, after 11 months. The last success was against Steaua, 1-0 on 8 May 2005.

Dorinel Munteanu started the match with three strikers and CFR dominated first half. In 7 minute CFR had the first opportunity to score, by Romeo Surdu, he also being close to open the score in 15 minute. D.Munteanu got out from the field in 21 minute, in the same minute Cosmin Tilincă profiting by a mistake of Gabriel Cânu, scored from 7 metres. Poli responded by Ifeanyi Emeghara, but he couldn't defeat Petru Țurcaș (26) from penalty area. At the end of first half CFR scored again, by Adrian Anca, pushing into net a ball at which Sorin Rădoi and Marius Popa banged one in the other. After the break something happened. Hagi pushed his team in the field of the visitors and Silviu Bălace scored after perfect cross of Cristian Silvășan, in 59 minute. Poli continued the attack and Ovidiu Petre scored after 10 minutes, shoting powerful from 18 metres. Poli pressed CFR till the end, but the last opportunity of the match had Alin Minteuan, who hit the bar in 88 minute.

At the press conference after the match with CFR, coach Hagi said: "I am disappointed. I think that will be better for Timișoara if I quit now. I am sorry for the fans of Timișoara and I want to thank to all the people from Timișoara". But next day Hagi said: "I stay at the team till I will be sacked. The fans of Poli deserve that." After Hagi said that will not resign anymore, he turned his rage to two valuable players from Timișoara. He sent at second team Gabriel Caramarin and Alin Stoica, after Hagi said lately about Stoica that is a positive example for all his team mates. "The two players will not play at Timișoara as long as I am trainer here" - said Hagi. Stoica, brought at Poli by Hagi, is punished for his behavior outside the stadium, he being a constant client of night clubs from Timișoara. About Caramarin, Hagi thinks that he is part of a group who wants to make him to leave Timișoara. Because of that it is saying that more players who came here from FC Național will leave the team in summer.

Even Vaslui started the match well, dominating in first half, the players of Vaslui have tired in second half. First opportunity had Ionuț Badea, who shot from 20 metres, but over the post. Because of the importance of the match, the emotions have appeared, and Vali Badea missed the post from 6 metres. He tried again, from 25 metres, but the ball hit the bar. These dangerous moments at the post of Farul gave to Vaslui players a relaxation state, but the visitors proved that "sharks" can bite hard. In 70 minute Claudiu Voiculeț scored for the team from sea side, after a very simple action. Vaslui was wounded but didn't renounce, hoping now to level the score. But in 85 minute Farul scored again, by Mihai Guriță: goalkeeper George Curcă shot powerful till the penalty area of Vaslui and Mihai Guriță sent the ball easy, over the keeper Sebastian Huțan.

Rapid has controlled the match, but the tiredness was felt by the players of Răzvan Lucescu. First opportunity to score of the match had Daniel Pancu in 4 minute, who hit the bar, but the biggest opportunities of first half had Pandurii, by Armel Disney. Daniel Niculae tried to be dangerous in 19 minute, Ionuț Stancu had half of opportunity, but after the break, the same Armel Disney could score for Pandurii, after a mistake of Ionuț Rada (59). Rapid pressed more to the end of the match, but the players of Pandurii, supported by the fans, defended very well. At the end of the match, the two trainers were livid. One felt that the title is far away, the other felt that the sand beneath the feet isn't moving so fast anymore...

First opportunity of the match had Steaua, by Gabriel Boștină (21), who remained alone with the keeper, but he prolonged the ball too much. Dinamo responded in 37 minute, when Dan Alexa crossed to Ianis Zicu, but he was fouled at 18 metres of the post of Steaua. The Italian referee showed red card to George Ogăraru and free kick for Dinamo. For Claudiu Niculescu, a free kick from 18 metres is like a penalty kick, he shotting perfect: 1-0. The numerical advantage of Dinamo didn't last too long, because Silviu Mărgăritescu received two yellow cards and was eliminated in 45 minute. After the break Dinamo retired in defence, to keep the result. Steaua continued the offensive, but Nicolae Dică missed two clear opportunities, one from 1 metre. Defender Dorin Goian became striker, but the goal which brought one point to Steaua came very lucky, in additional time. Vasilică Cristocea crossed, more players passed near by the ball and the ball enetered in the net, tricking the keeper of Dinamo. The matched finished 1-1 and the fight for the title continues.
